LEAGUE Wins Holmes EEO Class Action Case

The position of Postmaster, whomever occupies it, is an extremely valuable position at any level of the pay scale and should be recognized and fairly paid irrespective of the size of a particular post office.

I received a check today from the Postal Service for $54.62.

It is somewhat confusing, because of the message: “I understand that cashing, depositing, or negotiating this check will operate to permanently release and waive all claims that I, my heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns may have against the Postal Service and its employees related to the Holmes Class Action.”

Is it in our best interest to not cash the check?
