The guidelines for requesting a mitigating factor are outlined in a letter from Headquarters Manager Mangala Gandhi dated October 31, 2008. In this letter Mr. Gandhi states “a mitigating factor is an occurrence beyond an employee’s control, which causes a measurable impact on the NPA summary and also results in the PFP rating to be lowered by at least one whole point”.

Letter to the State Elected Officers from Colorado President
This message is in reference to possibly your pay. I have written before concerning the pay injustice that is occurring in our ranks. The fact is if you are on the fast track promotions train, you are getting hurt when it comes to pay.

Recently your National Board met and decided that the League would no longer support the VOE survey. While the intent behind the survey may be good, the fact of the matter is that the work situation for Postmasters continues to deteriorate.
